Please read these Terms carefully before using Subsaver. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", "User") and the Subsaver team ("Subsaver", "we", "our", "us") governing your use of the Subsaver mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using the Subsaver app — including by connecting a bank account through Plaid — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

To provide these features, Subsaver connects to your financial accounts using Plaid, a third-party financial data platform. Subsaver uses read-only access to your transaction history and does not have the ability to initiate any payment, transfer, or financial transaction on your behalf.
Important: Subsaver is a financial awareness tool, not a financial advisor. Information displayed is based on your transaction history and may not be complete or accurate. Always verify subscription charges directly with your bank or the relevant merchant.
To access the Service, you must register for an account using a valid email address and a password of your choosing. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the email address provided.
After submitting your email and password, we will send a one-time verification code (OTP) to your email address. You must enter this code to complete registration and to sign in. This two-step process — password plus email OTP — constitutes multi-factor authentication and is required to access the Service. You must have ongoing access to your registered email address to use Subsaver.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
Subsaver is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.
You agree to keep your account information accurate and up to date. If your registered email address changes, you are responsible for updating it within the app. Subsaver is not responsible for any service disruption resulting from an outdated or inaccessible email address on your account.
Subsaver uses Plaid, Inc. ("Plaid") to access your bank transaction data. Your use of Plaid's services within Subsaver is subject to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. By connecting a bank account, you authorize Plaid to access and transmit your financial data to Subsaver in accordance with Plaid's policies and these Terms.

This authorization is strictly read-only. Subsaver has no ability to initiate payments, transfers, or any financial transactions. This authorization remains in effect until you revoke it by disconnecting the account in the app or at my.plaid.com.
Subscription data displayed in Subsaver is derived from your transaction history as provided by Plaid. This data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Subsaver's detection algorithm may miss some subscriptions or incorrectly categorize non-subscription charges. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information displayed.
Subsaver's bank connection features depend on Plaid's service availability. Subsaver is not responsible for interruptions or failures in Plaid's services. Some financial institutions may not be supported by Plaid or may require periodic re-authentication.
You may use Subsaver solely for your own personal, non-commercial subscription management purposes. You agree not to:
Subsaver offers a free plan with limited features and paid plans (Pro and Family) with expanded capabilities. Pricing is described on our Pricing page and is subject to change with notice.
Paid plans are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payments are processed by Apple or Google under their respective terms. Subsaver does not directly process payment card information.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You are responsible for managing and cancelling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged.
Refund requests are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their refund policies. Subsaver does not issue refunds directly.
We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase via in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
We may offer free trials for paid plans. Unless you cancel before the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan. Trial terms will be clearly disclosed at sign-up.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Subsaver does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that subscription data will be complete or accurate, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. Financial decisions should not be made solely on the basis of information provided by Subsaver.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUBSAVER AND ITS TEAM MEMBERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS, MISSED SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS, OR UNEXPECTED CHARGES RESULTING FROM INACCURATE DETECTION.
Subsaver's total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Subsaver in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if you have made no payments.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Subsaver and its team members from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any financial data you connect without authorization.
The Subsaver app, including its design, code, graphics, and logos, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data, including financial data accessed through Plaid. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You may terminate your account and stop using Subsaver at any time by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app. Deleting your account will permanently remove your email address, password, and all associated subscription data from our systems within 30 days. You should also disconnect any linked bank accounts before deleting your account to ensure Plaid access is fully revoked. If you have a paid subscription, you must cancel it separately through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account — account deletion does not automatically cancel a paid subscription.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. If we discontinue the Service without cause and you have an active paid subscription, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 8 (Disclaimer), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), 11 (Intellectual Property), and 14 (Dispute Resolution) survive termination.
Before initiating any formal dispute, please contact us at Subsaver_feedback@outlook.com and attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will try to resolve concerns within 30 days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States applicable to agreements made and performed entirely within the US, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification at least 30 days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
